- $218.6 million – The third biggest jackpot ever drawn comes from the Mega Millions lottery in 2012. Merle and Patricia Butler shared it with other 2 winners and they pocketed $218.6 million prizes each. Another two winners remained anonymous to claim the prize.
- $173 million – In December 2013, the Mega Millions are drawn $648 million jackpot prize. It was claimed by two winners, Ira curry and Steve Tran. Both went home with the lump sum option and pocketed $173 million each. Curry shared her last-minute decision to buy the lottery and use the family birthday combination and her favorite number seven.
